CFCC class planned on alternative equine therapies

OCALA - A new class titled "Alternative Therapies for Managing the Equine Athlete" will be offered at the CF Institute at Central Florida Community College.

The four-week class, which begins Sept. 17, will be held on Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m., according to a CFCC news release.

"It will cover alternative therapies for horses ranging from traditional techniques that go back hundreds of years, to cutting-edge developments," the news release states. "They include techniques such as acupuncture, massage therapy and homeopathy."
