OCALA – On Tuesday night, Leila Ann Shoukry is accused of going to her favorite convenience store, telling the clerk she had a gun, going to the register, taking cash and escaping in a car.
A little more than 24 hours later, Shoukry sheriff’s deputies say she went to another convenience store, told the clerk she had a gun and that she wanted money.
Instead of giving her money, the clerk asked Shoukry to show her the gun. Not seeing a gun, the clerk and another employee walked away. Shoukry reportedly left the store and drove off.
The clerks called sheriff’s deputies, who later found Shoukry and the vehicle and arrested her. They also retrieved surveillance videos from the store.
Shoukry is charged with attempted strong-arm robbery and strong-arm robbery.
Officials at the store robbed Tuesday identified Shoukry because she’s a frequent customer. The store had a picture of her because she had cashed a check at that location.

What would have been REALLY FUNNY is if the LADY had pulled out a Desert Eagle and put it to the clerks head and said, "Now, please give me the cash."
Thats a good way to get yourself shot, clerk. Is that money really worth the chance?
