OCALA – Marion County sheriff's officials arrested an Ocala man Saturday night after he allegedly threatened to kill a man with his shotgun.
Robert Ward Krul, 59, was reportedly drinking at his home with some company at about 8 p.m. Sunday. Krul grabbed a shotgun from his bedroom and threatened to shoot a 64-year-old man who was visiting Krul's roommate if he did not leave, according to the Sheriff's Office report.
Ward's roommate, Candace Finnie, called the police and Krul returned the shotgun to his room, the report states.
Still, Krul was arrested for aggravated assault and taken to the Marion County Jail.

You don't suspect that pulling out a deadly weapon and threatening to kill a person had a little bit to do with his arrest? I think you stretch things a bit too far in your constant attempts to denegrate authority. Sort of sounds as if YOU got caught by the cops and are trying to blame them for it.

Pretty clear to me - The act of pulling a gun in your home on an uninvited burglar or other intruder is one thing. Pulling a gun on the guest of another resident with property rights without legal cause is another.

Sounds like a legit arrest to me. It wasn't as if the person barged in, if it was a break-in or someone barged in, then you are justified in aiming a weapon. Someone who was there and was invited in at some point, if you ask them to leave and they don't, then call the police. Also, last time I checked, handling a firearm while under the influence of alcohol is also illegal. I have found in my experience that those who criticize the police have no idea what it is like to do their job on a day to day basis, and would never do that job because they care more about themselves. Also, they are also the first to call the police when they need something.
