Adult wellness screenings planned for Oct. 8

OCALA - The public is invited to attend a free Adult Wellness Screening from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Marion County Public Library, 2720 E. Silver Springs Blvd. in Ocala.
There will be body-composition and bone-density screening by Franck's Pharmacy. There also will be a depression screening and a medication review, according to a library news release.
A presentation titled "Depression: Signs and Symptoms" will be held at 4:40 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. A Nutrition presentation, will be held at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. All screenings are free and confidential.
The Mental Wellness Coalition is sponsoring the screening. For more information, call 352-629-8231.
